How is this different from LI2UY?

The /SL model adds the speaker, strobe, two-way audio, line audio and alarm I/O.

Which lens should I choose?

2.8 mm is wider at 108.8° horizontally; 4 mm is narrower at 93.3° and makes a subject larger at the same distance.

Can four run from a four channel NVR?

HikVision states 4 channel NVRs can decode up to 2 lots of 8MP cameras. Therefore if you are viewing the cameras on a screen you would need to be view them in substream mode. Via the mobile app you will have no issue in full main stream. 

Can it record locally?

Yes, using a compatible microSD card up to 512 GB.

Is the white light always on?

No. Infrared, white-light and Smart modes are configurable. Colour in darkness requires white illumination although it can be disabled.
