Most people only realise something is wrong with their CCTV system when it is too late, usually when they urgently need to access footage. Over time, dust can build up, lenses can become obscured, spiders or insects can interfere with the camera view, or recordings can stop due to hard drive errors or firmware issues.
By having your system professionally serviced once a year, you significantly reduce the chance of failure. We check every camera, clean the lenses, update the firmware, test the recorder, and make sure everything is working exactly as it should. It is about being proactive, not reactive, so your system is ready to perform when it matters most.
Essential to Maintain Your 10 Year Guarantee
To keep your 10 year guarantee valid, your CCTV system must be serviced by Bear Watch CCTV LTD once every 12 months. This ongoing maintenance is a vital part of ensuring your system remains fully functional, clean, secure and up to date.
During your annual service visit, we will:
• Inspect all cameras and cables
• Deep clean camera lenses and housings
• Apply peppermint oil to deter insects from blocking the lens
• Open and clean the recorder, including dust removal from fans and internal boards
• Update the firmware on all cameras and the recorder
• Perform a full system health check and optimise performance
• Offer remote support for setting changes where possible
This service ensures everything is working as it should and helps prevent issues before they arise.
• All pricing below is for domestic dwellings with up to 4 cameras
• Larger systems and businesses are quoted on request
Standard Yearly Service – £149 per year
This is a pay as you go option for customers who prefer to pay annually. It includes everything listed above and is required to keep your 10 year guarantee valid.
• Remote system monitoring via Hikvision Partner Pro is not included in this plan
